Watch Snoop Dogg Go ‘Snooping Around’ the Louvre on Private Tour During 2024 Paris Olympics
Snoop Dogg has kept busy amid the 2024 Olympics in Paris, but he’s still finding time to take in a little culture.
In a hilarious Instagram video posted Friday (Aug. 2), the rapper embarks on a guided one-on-one tour through the city’s famous Louvre museum while no one else is around. “We’re finna be snooping around,” he tells the camera, walking through the empty halls.
The Doggfather starts by checking out the world’s most famous painting, Leonardo Da Vinci’s “Mona Lisa.” “I just found out I was Mona Lisa’s twin brother, Tony Lisa,” he jokes while looking at the painting in awe, checking whether the portrait’s eyes follow him by observing it from different angles.
Next, Snoop takes in the “Winged Victory of Samothrace” sculpture, correctly guessing which of the masterpiece’s wings is an original part of the statue, and which had to be replaced. “I love this,” he says in disbelief. “This is beautiful.”
Later, the “Drop It Like It’s Hot” artist mistakes a painting of the Roman god Cupid for a woman — that is, until he gets a closer look at the figure’s anatomy. “That ain’t a lady?” he remarks. “Cupid? I knew it was somebody I knew.”

Snoop has been in the City of Love since the Olympics kicked off July 26, serving as a commentator for NBC. So far, he’s participated in the torch relay, interviewed athletes and cheered on Team USA at various events, including the women’s gymnastics qualification — a few days after which the Simone Biles-led group won gold in the all-around.
The musician also led gymnast Suni Lee in a round of hilarious affirmations before testing out his swimming skills with Olympic champion Michael Phelps in the pool.
