Madame Tussauds Hollywood unveiled a new Bad Bunny wax figure on Thursday (Dec. 14). Making this his fourth figure, the reveal in Hollywood follows the Puerto Rican superstar’s New York and Orlando figures in 2022, and his Las Vegas wax figure from earlier this year.
The new likeness is inspired by Bunny’s iconic red carpet look from the 2021 Grammy Awards, “capturing the essence of his larger-than-life presence and one-of-a-kind dynamic style,” Madame Tussauds Hollywood said in a press release. Crafted by Madame Tussauds studio artists in London, the figure — clad in patent leather boots and decked out in jewelry, including a silver skull ring and a gold rectangle signet ring — showcases the artist’s signature pinkies up pose.
“Bad Bunny has been one of the most requested figures here in Hollywood since his wax figures launched in New York City, Las Vegas and Orlando,” said Linsey Stiglic, marketing manager at Madame Tussauds Hollywood, in a press release. “We’re proud to give Benito’s fans in L.A. a chance to get up close and personal with the artist, especially if they can’t all make it to his upcoming Most Wanted Tour.”
The wax figure in Hollywood was unveiled on the heels of Bad Bunny’s upcoming Most Wanted Tour, set to kick off Feb. 21 in Salt Lake City and visit major markets such as Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Chicago and New York. Produced by Live Nation and Rimas, the trek is in support of his latest album, Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar, which he unleashed in October. The set became Spotify’s 2023 most streamed album in a single day upon its release.
