Mr. Nimbus | 02/08/2024

It’s a fourth week at No. 1 for Flo Milli’s “Never Lose Me,” which continues its reign atop the TikTok Billboard Top 50 chart dated Feb. 10.

The TikTok Billboard Top 50 is a weekly ranking of the most popular songs on TikTok in the United States based on creations, video views and user engagement. The latest chart reflects activity Jan. 29-Feb. 4. Activity on TikTok is not included in Billboard charts except for the TikTok Billboard Top 50.

With four straight weeks at No. 1, “Never Lose Me” now boasts the longest consecutive streak atop the TikTok Billboard Top 50 for any song since its September 2023 inception. The all-time leader in overall weeks at No. 1, Mitski’s “My Love Mine All Mine,” has reigned for six frames in three-week increments.

Concurrently, “Never Lose Me” reaches a new peak on the multimetric Billboard Hot 100, lifting 19-18. In the chart’s Jan. 26-Feb. 1 tracking week, the song jumped 11% to 17.2 million official U.S. streams, according to Luminate.

As previously reported, titles that are part of Universal Music Group’s catalog are currently unavailable on TikTok. This week’s chart, which includes metrics from Jan. 29 through Feb. 4, is absent UMG songs as the lack of a full week of data resulted in metrics that fell below the chart threshold.

“Never Lose Me” is followed on the TikTok Billboard Top 50 by Rich Amiri’s “One Call,” which leaps from its No. 17 debut Feb. 3 to a new peak of No. 2. The rapper’s track was originally released last November but has gone viral on TikTok in recent weeks, with a more recent trend involving creators responding to the prompt “Do you even [like/love] me?” or “I said” followed by “Better late than ever.”

“One Call” concurrently becomes Rich Amiri’s first Hot 100 appearance, debuting at No. 79. It jumped 44% in streams to 6.8 million in the latest tracking period.

A trio of songs enjoy debuts in the TikTok Billboard Top 50’s top 10, paced by Cat Janice’s “Dance You Outta My Head,” which bows at No. 5. The newly released track (it premiered Jan. 19) has achieved immediate success on TikTok, buoyed largely by viewers learning about Janice’s story; the 31-year-old singer dedicated the track to her 7-year-old son as her final song, as she has been diagnosed with cancer and is currently in hospice care.

Many of the uploads since share best wishes for Janice and her family, while others sing and dance all along to the tune.

“Dance You Outta My Head” reaches a new peak of No. 11 on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart, sporting 970,000 streams (up 175%) and 8,000 downloads (up 162%).

Benson Boone’s “Beautiful Things” follows “Dance You Outta My Head” with a No. 6 debut. It’s Boone’s first appearance on the chart, though he’s had success on the platform in recent years with songs like “In the Stars” and “Ghost Town.”

“Beautiful Things” was teased on TikTok for weeks prior to its Jan. 18 release, boosting its eventual No. 15 debut on the Hot 100 dated Feb. 15, a rank that was eclipsed on the latest survey with a rise to No. 8 (18.5 million streams, 8,000 downloads). Many of the top-performing uploads are from Boone himself, either lip synching to the song himself or posting others – including kids – singing the track.

Finally, BossMan DLow’s “Get In With Me” debuts at No. 10 on the TikTok Billboard Top 50. The rapper’s latest release premiered Jan. 19, and multiple lyrics from the viral tune have been receiving attention on TikTok, including the “Bae, these Off-White, these ain’t no Huarache/ Bad b—h, 50th floor, eatin’ Hibachi” line.

“Get In With Me” is currently bubbling under the Hot 100 and concurrently bows at No. 46 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, garnering 4.4 million streams, up 152%.
