Missy Elliott Says Usher Soothed Her Migraine With a Massage Backstage Before a Show: ‘He Do It All’
Just call him Dr. Usher. According to Missy Elliott, the smooth-singing R&B icon recently jumped into action at one of her concerts, giving her a healing massage to assist with a migraine she had backstage.
Sharing a trio of photos with her friend via X earlier this week — including one of him appearing to squeeze a pressure point in her hand — the “Work It” musician wrote, “Big up my fam.”
“@Usher who came to not just one of my shows but TWO & hopefully 3,” she wrote. “What ppl don’t know is I suffer migraines and I performed yesterday in ATL with the WORST migraine nauseated & all & he came back stage & did pressure points on my hands.”

“Yes he do it all,” Elliott added with a laugh-crying emoji.
The hip-hop trailblazer is currently in the middle of her Out of This World Tour alongside Busta Rhymes, Ciara and Timbaland. Following her Saturday performance at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena, Elliott will next bring the trek to Baltimore on Thursday night (Aug. 1), with dates scheduled through the back half of the month.
“I promise I’m a different breed!!! I think differently…,” she tweeted recently, sharing photos from her theatrical stage show. “I see Art out of a different lens I’ve been like this way from a child…my mind was always tapped into the FUTURE👽 #OutOfThisWorld #OutOfThisWorldTour.”
Usher is also gearing up to embark on a tour. His Past Present Future trek kicks off Aug. 20 in Washington, D.C., followed by a slew of North American dates ending Oct. 29. On Wednesday, he shared photos hard at work at rehearsal and hitting reps on an exercise mat, writing, “PREPARATION.”
