The countdown to the 2024 Oscars has officially begun! Oscar nominations were announced on Tuesday (Jan. 23), which means that you have less than two months to catch up on nominated films before the 96th annual Academy Awards.

To give you a head start, we’ve collected a list of the films nominated for best picture at this year’s Oscars, and found where to watch and stream them. The 2024 Oscars will air live on Sunday, March 10, at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT on ABC.

Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer leads the race with 13 Oscar nominations, including best picture, best director, best actor, best supporting actor, best adapted screenplay, best costume design, best original score and best cinematography.

The historical drama, about the man who created the atomic bomb, stars Cillian Murphy, Emily Blunt, Robert Downey Jr., Matt Damon and Florence Pugh.

Where to stream: Oppenheimer is available to buy and rent on Prime Video and will begin streaming exclusively on Peacock on Feb. 16.

Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon is a historical drama about the slaughtering of the Osage people in 1920s Oklahoma starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Lily Gladstone and Robert DeNiro. The movie received 10 nominations including best picture, best supporting actor, best director, best original score, best cinematography and best costume design.

Gladstone made history as the first Native American woman to be nominated for a best actress Oscar in the Academy’s nearly 100-year history.

Where to stream: Killers of the Flower Moon is streaming free on Apple TV+ and available to buy digitally on Prime Video.

Hi, Barbie! Your favorite doll takes on the real world in Greta Gerwig’s comedic drama earning eight nominations including best picture, best adapted screenplay, best production design, best costume design, best original song along with best supporting actor and best supporting actress for Ryan Gosling and America Ferrera.

Gerwig and Barbie star, Margot Robbie, were snubbed in the best actress and best director categories but the movie earned two best original song nods for Billie Eilish and Finneas’ “What Was I Made For?” and “I’m Just Ken” written by Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt.

How to Watch Past Lives

Past Lives, a romantic drama about childhood sweethearts who reunite after years apart, earned two Oscar nominations for best picture and best original screenplay.

Greta Lee, Teo Yoo, John Magaro star in the A24 film directed by Celine Song.

How to Watch: American Fiction, Poor Things, Maestro & The Zone of Interest

Some of the Oscar-nominated films are only available in theaters, but will make their way to Prime Video and other streaming platforms at some point. They include Poor Things, the critically-acclaimed, black comedy starring Emma Stone, Willem Dafoe, Ramy Youssef and Jack Barton.

American Fiction star’s Jeffrey Wright and Sterling K. Brown earned nominations for their roles in the satirical comedy about a struggling writer. Bradley Cooper landed a best actor nomination for Maestro, a biographical, romantic drama about composer Leonard Bernstein and his wife, Felicia Montealegre.

Maestro, American Fiction and The Zone of Interest are tied with five Oscar nominations each.
